Dearest Santa –
I have been very good this year. I have even cheered for Jovo and limited my use of the “damnjovo”. I have cheered my boys on through good and bad. I have hoped and prayed for a new owner. I know that wish has been granted (mostly) and I have just one more thing I would like for Christmas… can you bring me some defense?
The boys were letting Bryz down but now it’s much more obvious that we have no defense. They all want to score goals. I would like someone, much like Z, who will lay down in front of the puck. I also would like someone to help clear the crease. Sometimes we just have too many guys in front of the net in the wrong uniform. It would be nice to see some speed and hustle. The dmen need to get to the net and cover the backdoor.
So, if you have room in that big beautiful sack of yours… please bring the Coyotes some defense.
If you are unable to do that, please smack Jovo upside the head while he is dreaming of sugarplumbs and such.
