The Wisconsin Badgers 2014-15 season will go down in history as easily the best in school history. So, celebrating that special season was indeed warranted. That’s exactly what happened on Tuesday night at the sold-out season-end celebration.

Apparently the jokesters on the Badgers basketball team haven’t stopped with the laughs just yet either. Forward Nigel Hayes had a few tricks up his sleeve, including a comic book joke about teammate Josh Gasser and his upcoming role in the 2015-16 season.

So, get used to plenty of #RedLatern moments and tweets next season. However, this night was all about the Badgers and their run to the 2015 national championship game.
As for the teammate Hayes had a bit of fun with, well it appears Josh Gasser isn’t done with basketball in any way for now. In fact, you just may see him getting in to coaching at some point in time.
.@JPGasser21 says he plans to try and keep playing basketball as long as he can. Hasn't thought too far ahead, but maybe coaching later on.

Another player who won’t be around next season to try and get to the pinnacle and cut down the nets at the Final Four is Sam Dekker. He had some parting thoughts for the fans on Tuesday night.
.@dekker on #Badgers fans: "The support we got is something you'll never forget. Not many schools get support like this. It's truly special"

Bo Ryan wasn’t above the joking and goofing around…as anyone that follows the Badgers should’ve known was his nature by now.
Bo Ryan: "Wow. I don’t know what's shining more, the top of my head or the trophies." (Laughter). "It wasn’t that funny." #Badgers

Bo deadpans: "Well I think by far if you just look at this group you would know that they overachieved." #Badgers

Clearly this was a special year on the court, but it was made even more so by the fact that this team also had an incredible cast of characters and jokesters too.
Wisconsin fans may never see another team like the one in 2014-15, so soak in the last moments of fun before turning over to the what-if’s and potential ahead of the Badgers in 2015-16.
