The Celtics got big games from Jared Sullinger & newcomer Jae Crowder last night. Crowder had a career-high 22 points and Sullinger put in 27 of his own to go with 10 boards. The two were also a combined 10 of 11 from the FT line.
Crowder’s night consisted of a bit of everything-drives to the hoop, jumpers & a couple of tough treys. He also notched 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks & 4 steals. With Jeff Green now in Memphis, Crowder is guaranteed to see more minutes at the 3 going forward.
Sullinger was a beast during his 32 minutes out on the floor. He shot 52% and hit some crucial free-throws in the final minute to seal Boston’s 108-100 win.
