According to Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Spurs could be sending guard George Hill back to his home state in Indiana.
Wojnarowski said Hill will be traded in a package that would bring Kawhi Leonard to the Spurs.
Leonard was just drafted by the Pacers after falling past the lottery.
Leonard is a 6-7 small forward from San Diego State. He is a high-energy player, a great rebounder for his size, is very athletic and has an impressive 7-3 wingspan.
A straight up Hill for Leonard trade does not make sense, so the Spurs should be receiving more back in return. A player like Roy Hibbert would be a welcome addition to the Spurs, but giving away someone who could become a franchise player in San Antonio will not be well-liked by Spurs fans.
Update: The Spurs will recieve the 49th pick as part of the deal.
