New Jersey 5, New York Rangers 2 – The Devils were able to skate past the ruthless, bloodthirsty Rangers.
Carolina 3, Philadelphia 1 – The Hurricanes crushed the second two periods and ended up winning pretty easily.
Nashville 3, Toronto 2 – The Preds politely allowed the Leafs to score a couple goals in the third so they wouldn’t look as bad.
Detroit 2, Columbus 1 (SO) – The greatest rivalry in sports that is just waiting to happen. Really, Michigan and Ohio hate each other. Too bad the Blue Jackets are so shitty.
Tampa Bay 2, Arizona 1 – Arizona may not be very good, but it seems like they are always a tough out.
New York Islanders 4, Minnesota 1 – The Wild haven’t won at the Xcel Energy Center since 2015. That is a true fact.
Dallas 5, Winnipeg 3 – This is probably the last game for the Jets as we currently know them. Trades a-brewin’.
Ottawa 4, Edmonton 1 – If drafting high and acquiring top end young talent isn’t working, I just don’t know what to say. The Oilers are doomed to be terrible.
Los Angeles 2, Calgary 1 – Calgary is extra bad on the road. More like, Calgary Flames spewing of an engulfed Dumpster.
