Another disastrous road trip (Is 1-5 disastrous at this point? We at least managed to win one this time around.) the Pirates are home to welcome the Nats to PNC Park this weekend. This probably isn’t an opinion based in reality, but I feel like there’s some good baseball inside the Pirates that’s ready to burst out in the near future. It’d be cool if it happened this weekend.
Zach Duke and Livian Hernandez take the mound tonight in what feels like it might be the least interesting pitching matchup anywhere this year. I don’t have time to update Clemente/Cangelosi today, but if you leave your picks in the comments I’ll get to them for a two-day update tomorrow.
