Phil B said they look so good, it’s hard to find fault
I know some fans are going to want to know what’s going on with DE Dwight Freeney, who had two sacks and abused tackle Mike Gandy (I still can’t believe they tried to single-block No. 93!), but left the game in the fourth quarter with a lower right leg injury. I learned after filing my story that a national writer waited around long enough to talk to Free. We didn’t have that luxury with our deadlines. But Freeney said he felt something pop, possibly a quad muscle. And with the feeding frenzy that was going on, you know he didn’t want to come out, but he did.
The word is he is supposed to have a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan today. I know we all hope it’s nothing serious, but it’s quite possible we won’t see Freeney for a while. And, for now, strange as it sounds, that’s OK. As long as he can come back in a while. The Colts have Seattle at home, and a decent effort should translate to a victory. This defense has figured out some of its kinds, and the offense is rolling. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. TE Dallas Clark proved once again teams can’t cover him with a linebacker. Did Arizona bother to watch Monday night’s game in Miami or what? And the Cardinals ran for 24 yards on 12 carries? Are you kidding me
Oh, and a link to Kravitz’s report card.
