Manny Parra was not always my favorite player. Some of you might remember when I said the Reds should give out booze, like they do with 11 strikeout pizza, when Parra and Alfredo Simon pitched in the same game. Parra has been pretty great lately, something I attributed to his Boston Rob like facial hair. After he got out of a late inning jam in the Reds win last night, I made more Boston Rob jokes. Because I'm a weird guy, I took the issue to Parra himself.

If you are wondering, Parra's twitter is verified. And I couldn't find a picture of him with his beard to compare to Boston Rob. Twitter is the best sometimes. This is one of those times.
