Last time

The Celtics defense smothered Orlando in a 91-89 victory on Friday night.

This time

Get it to: Jeff Green

Uncle Jeff managed just 10 points on 5-14 shooting in last Friday’s victory over Orlando. But I’m hoping the game-winning triple he spit in LeBron’s eyeball on Saturday proves to be the “asshole” elixir he needs to maintain the alpha-dog confidence.

Gotta stop: Nikola Vucevic

The Celtics did a decent job limiting Vucevic (14 points, 13 rebounds) in the last game. In addition to defending the big guy, Boston needs to replicate the solid overall play in the paint. The C’s hung tough with Orlando on the boards and points-in-the-paint.

The Wild Card: Courtney Lee

While I’m not Courtney Lee’s biggest fan, I have to note that he’s shooting 61% in the past 5 games. His best game of the season (13 points, 4 rebounds in 17 minutes) came vs Orlando. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that Lee benefits from the transition game.

How we see it goin’ down

Is this Celtics team capable of a 4 game winning streak? Why the hell not. Especially if they continue to dominate the perimeter (1st in Opp 3FG) and force Orlando into sloppy mistakes.

Oh by the way, if the Celtics win and Philly loses, we’ll be tied for 1st place in the Atlantic Division.
