Bat flips currently seem to be all the rage, right?
Well, proving that you can take a player out of the Korean Baseball Organization, but you can’t take the KBO out of the player…Hyun-jin Ryu had to have made his countrymen proud Friday night.
In the top of the fifth Friday night, the Los Angeles Dodger pitcher crushed an offering from Colorado Rockies starter Eddie Butler and, you guessed it, unleashed a nice little bat flip in the process.
Sure, dude’s no pro (it was just his third hit of the season), but if he continues to keep tabs on the bat flips in the KBO, who knows…he might end up giving teammate Yasiel Puig a run for his money.
