Oskar Blues Ten FIDY
How much more Pittsburgh can you get? For starters, it comes in a can, and only in a can. Secondly, it’ll kick your ass. At 10.5% alcohol, this Imperial Stout won’t wait around while your friends drink IC Light Mango all night and get a little buzz. You’ll be rocked off your can after two of these. For the beer snobs in the crowd, here’s the down-low from the Oskar Blues website, “This titanic, immensely viscous stout is loaded with inimitable flavors of chocolate-covered caramel and coffee and hide a hefty 98 IBUs underneath the smooth blanket of malt. Ten FIDY (10.5% ABV) is made with enormous amounts of two-row malt, chocolate malt, roasted barley, flaked oats and hops.” That’s pretty much about all you need to know. Oh yeah, and it’s won championships, taking home a Gold Medal at the 2010 World Beer Championships.
