Hall of Famer Wade Boggs will be pouring beers for fans that attend this Saturday’s Lowell Spinners game at LeLacheur Park. I’m not sure that I want the guy who rode around on back of a horse in the Bronx filling up my cup of suds. Boggs did some great things while he was in Boston but he might make the Spinner’s All-Time Most Hated Yankee Lineup. Did everybody already forget that he put on a Yankee hat at last year’s All-Star game?
The Spinners better keep a close eye on him to make sure some of the beer he pours actually makes it to the paying customers.
