Carlos Gomez is really, really good in centerfield. You may have forgotten because he only played in three games on the past road trip, and Tuesday night was his first start since May 30. He had a rough night with the bat, but if it wasn’t for his glove, the Brewers probably end up losing to the Mets by more than one run:
Gomez continues to be an elite defender in centerfield. It’s just a shame he can’t hit a lick.
