It’s important to respect the privacy of hockey players and to remember to maintain that separation between their life on the ice and their life off it. However, sometimes a story comes along that’s worth mentioning and this one involves a purchase from Patrik Berglund.
Berglund agreed to a five-year, $19.25 million contract back in February and didn’t wait too long to buy a new piece of property.
According to the St. Louis Business Journal, Berglund purchased a condo in Clayton back in May for $1.06 million. The description from the Business Journal sounds pretty nice.
The two-bedroom condo has three bathrooms. The home features a gas fireplace, a terrace, a whirlpool, heated floors in the bathroom, a chef’s kitchen and some hardwood floors. The building provides access to a 24-hour doorman, a valet, a concierge, a club room with a kitchen, a fitness center, a garden with a dog park, a parking garage with access to two parking spaces and storage.
Props to Berglund for landing a sweet new condo. Considering he’ll be with the Blues through the 2021-22 season, it makes sense for him to upgrade his living situation with some of his new money.
Berglund will be sidelined until December as he recovers from a shoulder injury, but at least he’ll be recovering in a comfortable new home.
More photos of Berglund’s condo can be seen over at the Business Journal.
