Incognito deserves a 2nd chance, as do you

There are 1 in 23 american males who have been to or are in prison. That does not count the thousands in jails, Work Release, Work Camps, or Probation. Richie Incognito has done none of those things, but there’s a chance you or someone you know has.

We imprison a large part of our population, mostly with drug charges and other non violent ones. More than any other industrialized country; you have to compare to China and Iraq before you find numbers similar to the United States, and Mike Vick was one of those people.

We are a nation built upon forgiveness, and second chances.

We’ve had troubled sorts here in Tampa.

Promising rookies like Legarrette Blount, Aqib Talib, Tanard Jackson, all of whom the Bucs had to cut ties with. You saw Mike Williams on the Buffalo sideline right?

This isn’t 2009, Incognito would not come here as a savior, he would come here and have to impress Gerald McCoy, Lavonte David, Vincent Jackson, and others.

And then there’s Lovie Smith, who gets the last word in the matter.

Not me, or you.
