This is a game that only a true college football zealot or a degenerate gambler could love. You are here reading this so which one are you? If this game would have been played earlier in the year it would have been a better attraction but both of these teams have slid a bit towards the end of their schedule. The Warhawks lost two games down the stretch to Louisiana and Arkansas State. Both are bowl teams, but ULM lost by double-digits in both games. Ohio started out 7-0 but then dropped four of their last five.

So far #MACtion is only 1-3 in bowl games while the Sun Belt is 1-1 but 0-1 in match-ups against the MAC. ULM is led by QB Kolton Browning. He threw 27 TDs this year and also led the team in rushing with 441 yards. The defense does a good job turning other teams over as they only had three games with one turnover (zero games with no turnover caused) and had a turnover margin of +8. Ohio is a lot more dedicated to the ground behind Beau Blankenship and his 1500 yards rushing. QB Tyler Tettleton leads the team with 16 TD passes versus only 3 INTs. Ohio has a very impressive TO margin of +14 mainly because they don't turn the ball over.

One of the more interesting battles in this game will be to see if ULM can stop the Ohio rushing attack. In their recent losses, ULM gave up 200+ yards rushing to Arkansas State and Louisiana and those teams combined for six TDs on the ground. I do believe that Ohio will have success running the football but I think ULM will also be able to move the football and will be able to outscore the Bobcats in this one.
