The Kings’ injury report for today’s matchup against the Utah Jazz.

  • After scoring 33 points last night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Rudy Gay will miss tonight’s game in Utah as he continues to recover from a concussion.  Following the game against the T-Wolves, Gay told media members he still had a headache from the concussion.  Per NBA protocol, a player with continuing symptoms is not allowed to play.  The small forward has missed nine contests this season and is averaging 21.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
  • DeMarcus Cousins is out for a second straight game with a sore right foot. The All-Star has been in and out of the lineup of late and was scheduled to meet with team doctors last night.  When he plays, Cousins dominates, but tonight’s game will be the 19th game he’s missed so far.  On the season, the 24-year-old center is averaging 24.1 points, 12.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.5 steals in 34.1 minutes per game.
  • Rookie Nik Stauskas is out with a lower back strain.  The former Michigan star has left the previous two games early with the injury and is considered day-to-day.  Stauskas is averaging just 4.2 points in 69 games for Sacramento this season.
  • Darren Collison is out for the rest of the season with a core muscle injury.  The 27-year-old guard underwent successful surgery on March 3 in Philadelphia.
  • Rookie forward Eric Moreland is out for the season with a left shoulder labral tear. He made three appearances, totaling two minutes of action in the NBA this season. Moreland is expected to be back for Summer League in Las Vegas.
