Injury report: DeMarcus Cousins probable

Cousins-v-Pelicans

The Kings’ injury report for today’s matchup against the New York Knicks.

  • DeMarcus Cousins is probable tonight after missing Friday’s game with gastroenteritis, also known as the stomach flu.  Cousins has missed 11 of the Kings’ 29 games this season due to illness, but he should be back in uniform tonight.
  • Ramon Sessions is doubtful tonight with low back stiffness. The eight-year veteran has been struggling with the issue for a week. Sessions is having a rough start to the 2014-15 schedule.  In his absence, second year point guard Ray McCallum has been filling in as the reserve behind Darren Collison.
  • Ryan Hollins is out for tonight’s game with a personal issue. Hollins’ father passed away on December 13 and the team has excused him to be with his family at this time.

We will keep you updated on the status of each player as we find out more.
