The Kings’ injury report for today’s matchup against the Detroit Pistons.
- Eric Moreland will miss the rest of the season with a left shoulder labral tear. The Kings announced today that the rookie forward underwent successful surgery on Saturday and should be ready for Summer League in Las Vegas.
- Ramon Sessions is out with a low back strain. The point guard has been battling the issue for nearly two weeks and has missed six of the Kings’ last seven games. Sessions’ is averaging a career-low 6.1 points and 2.5 assists in 17.1 minutes per game (25 appearances, three starts). Ray McCallum has assumed backup point duties in his place.
- Omri Casspi is out with a left knee bone contusion. The veteran forward has intermittently missed eight games over the last month due to the injury. Casspi is averaging 7.9 points and 3.6 rebounds in 18.2 minutes a match this season. With Derrick Williams sliding into the starting lineup opposite Rudy Gay, the Kings need Casspi back for depth as soon as possible.
