Two Sacramento Kings reserves will miss tonight’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets.
Ramon Sessions is out with a low back strain. The point guard has been battling the issue for over a week and has missed three of the Kings’ last four games. The injury adds to Sessions’ troubles this season, as he’s averaging a career-low 6.1 points and 2.5 assists in 17.1 minutes per game (25 appearances, three starts). Ray McCallum has assumed backup point duties in his place.
Eric Moreland is out with a left shoulder labral tear. The undrafted rookie forward has made three regular season appearances this season, totaling a layup, rebound and personal foul in two minutes and five seconds of action. Moreland has played seven games (six starts) with the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League, averaging 13.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.6 blocks in 28.7 minutes per match.
