Inside the Big East: The Last Two Weeks

Someone was a slacker last week and didn’t update Inside the Big East, your home for all the Big East stats. We have all the up to date leaders in rushing, receiving, passing, TDs, kicking, punting, everything your heart could possibily desire. This feature is so much better than just looking at the stats, because I wrote it.

  1. Rutgers has rushed out to a Big East leading 2-0 start after beating Syracuse and Pittsburgh. That has lead many people to say they have taken out the trash.
  2. West Virginia is 1-0 after throttling UConn in the second half of their contest on Saturday.
  3. Pittsburgh is in third place on the strength of playing 2 conference games. They are 1-1.
  4. South Florida is 0-1 after their disaster against Pittsburgh
  5. Connecticut was beaten like a dog the second half against West Virginia to account for their 0-1.
  6. Syracuse played another OT game against Rutgers, but that one didn’t end well, as they are 0-1.
  7. Cincinnati hasn’t played a Big East game.
  8. Louisville hasn’t either.

Since there are two weeks of stats coming at you, they are all going to be in one grouping. Last week is week 1, or (1), this past week is week 2, or (2). Sound good? Sounds great. Also, the standard is 50 yards instead of 40.
