Ok Raider Nation, I hope you are wearing a helmet because I’m about to blow your mind. We here are Thoughts From the Dark Side are very pleased to announce that we have teamed up with the ticket re-selling brainiacs at TiqIQ to create Darkside Tickets. That’s right, Raider tickets right here on TFDS! So here is how it works:
In a nut shell, if you are looking for the cheapest available Raider tickets for any particular row and section in Oakland Alameda County Coliseum, this is where you will find it. If you have ever been to one of those sites that has discounted airline/hotel/rental cars(ie Expedia, Hotwire, Kayak, Orbitz, etc.), you have the basic idea.
Just come to Darkside Tickets, click on the tab in our header or the widget in the sidebar and BANG! You will find the best tickets at the best price anywhere. Most people currently go directly to a site re-sellers like StubHub and find their game tickets there. But if you want to find all the tickets available and those at the best prices, you would have to visit every available ticket re-seller individually to find it. Darkside Tickets takes all the tickets available from the different ticket re-sellers and puts them together in one place to show you the very best deals out there. With NO markup either. The price you could get your tickets there is the exact same price you can get it here. Consider it a one-stop shop. And with this being TFDS, it is all about Raider tickets…baby.
This page doesn’t just find the best prices though. It breaks down available tickets by every possible detail you can imagine. It will tell you which tickets are the best deal as well and break down the exact fluxuation of ticket prices for that particular game. That way you know whether you are buying your ticket at the best time, at the best value. And it will organize them by section, level, price, and value and a ton of other criteria. All while still being ridiculously user friendly.
Here are the three main things the TiqIQ system will offer:
1. Aggregated Listings: They aggregate listings from sites like StubHub, eBay, Ticketsnow and TicketNetwork.
2. TiqZone Categorization: They break each venue up into TiqZones, which are groupings of sections that we’ve determined are comparable in value.
3. TiqIQ Statistics: They provide ticket-level buying intelligence through our IQ rating and TiqIQ Statistics.
At the moment we offer tickets for every Raider home game this season, including this week’s preseason matchup against the 49ers and the preseason finale against the Seahawks which has field level tickets selling for as low as $9! We are working on offering tickets for away games and will let everyone know when those capabilities come down.
TFDS and TiqIQ will keep you updated periodically with content pertaining to events that affect ticket prices and such so you will always be the most informed fan base in sports. This will also help fill the seats at the Coliseum every Sunday. Season ticket holders already purchased their seats but if they aren’t there to fill them, it lessens the homefield advantage. And Raider fans want the right kind of home blackout– the blackout of the seats with Raider jerseys not the blackout of regional TV coverage.
Which reminds me; even if/when the game is sold out, we will almost always still have good tickets available. So if you don’t want to sit on Mt Davis and get a sunburn and a nose bleed, you don’t have to.
