The Dallas Morning Post reported that the Rangers are interested in a trade with the Sox for Coco. Texas would send catcher Gerald Liard to Boston. This might mean that Mirabelli in no longer needed….that is until week 2 of the regular season when Boston Police need to prepare for another escort to Fenway when Liard can’t catch the knuckleball.
