Zipay adds that John Mitchell and Kris Newbury cleared waivers today.

…sort of shocked here. Unless Avery is still hurting from toe and stick in the face, I’m not sure what to think. Maybe Torts wants to look at Christensen one more time. Thought he’d seen enough of him last year. Although he is invisible half the time so that may be it.

…pretty sad if sitting in the stands for a game vs. EV Zug is how Avery’s Ranger career ends.
