Islanders/Lightning gets going again tonight

One of the joys of this playoff season has been the New York Islanders. They aren’t exactly blowing the doors off any of their opponents, but rather quite the opposite. It seems like they are managing to meet their rivals on level footing, bringing about long series with a lot of blows traded, first with the Panthers and now with the Lightning. It feels that theirs is a series destined for 7 games, and all of them are going to be fabulous. As it turns out, both teams are playing tonight!

Of course, the real spectacle so far of this round ended well after midnight last night, when the Sharks fell to the Predators in 3 overtimes.

SCOREBOARD
Dallas 3, St. Louis 2 (OT) – This game was crap next to the other one last night. Seems appropriate that the Predators and Blues lost on the same night in the playoffs.

Nashville 4, San Jose 3 (3 OT) – This might be the game of the ost season so far. There were saves, goals, an overturned goal, hits and almost no sleep. Totally awesome.
