Disney saw profits rise 12% in the fourth quarter thanks largely to ESPN according to Andy Fixmer of Bloomberg.

Tom Wharton of the Salt Lake Tribune says a local sports radio station is in hot water with the NBA for promoting its Utah Jazz pre and postgame shows even though it doesn’t have broadcast rights with the team.

Sports radio station WDFN in Detroit is bringing back its morning show after firing it last week.

Former jockey Gary Stevens has been signed by HRTV, away from rival TVG, to be analyst for the horse racing channel as Multichannel News tells us.
