The Pirates came close to winning last night, but they’ve done that a few times in the last 11 games and they don’t have anything to show for it. So how about tonight being the night this slump ends? Pedro Alvarez finally gets to face a right-handed pitcher, Paul Maholm’s on the mound … I’ve got a good feeling about this.
