Despite many rumors of this deal happening yesterday, it finally happens this afternoon. The Philadelphia Eagles and free agent safety O.J. Atogwe agree to terms on a one year deal. Atogwe spent his first six years in the league with the St. Louis Rams and last season he played for the Washington Redskins. For the Redskins, Atogwe had 60 tackles and three interceptions in 13 games played. This is a good move by the Eagles as they add more depth to the safety position, which they needed. To make room on the roster for Atogwe, the Eagles released long snapper Matt Camilli.
