Ryan Callahan proved once again last night that he is one of the, if not the best captain in the NHL, by single-handedly grabbing victory from the jaws of defeat.
It would have been real easy for this Rangers team to put its tail between its legs down 2-0 and be happy with four out of six points on the road trip, but Captain Callahan refused to lose and did this to spark the team on the penalty kill…
Unreal effort that is always the norm from Cally.
His power play goal later in the period tied it up and the Rangers were on their way to a 4-2 comeback victory in Winnipeg.
