After a day off yesterday, we are jumping right back in with our countdown to Houston.
We are now sitting at 93 days until 2014 Wisconsin Football, and it’s Jake Keefer’s time for fame.
Keefer’s Story So Far:
– Keefer missed all of 2013 with a torn lateral meniscus, but recorded a tackle in the Big Ten Championship game against Nebraska in 2012.
– He is majoring in life sciences communication and volunteers as a motivational speaker for elementary school students.
What to Expect in 2014:
Keefer hasn’t seen much action in his time at Wisconsin, and the injury during a fall scrimmage last year didn’t help. With seniors Pat Muldoon, Tyler Dippel, and Ethan Hemmer all gone, Keefer has a chance to work his way into the DE rotation. Look to see how his knee looks, and if it’s strong, you’ll see him on the stat sheet this year.
