Last season, after Jake Peavy won the World Series with the Boston Red Sox, he shelled out $75,000 to purchase “Charlie River”, the duck boat he rode in during the team’s “Rolling Rally” celebration.
This season, after winning a title with the San Francisco Giants, the pitcher hinted at purchasing a cable car. And, according to TMZ, Peavy, along with his brother Luke, are “in the process” of looking for just the right one to buy. Oh, but get this…the boys aren’t planning on using it as decoration on the Jeremy Renner lookalike’s 5000-acre Alabama estate.
The Peavy Brothers are going to put the thing to use.
“Once it’s in ‘bama,” Luke Peavy said, “it will be turned into a mobile bar in Southern Falls.”
Yes. A mobile bar. Because, really…why not?
