UC threw out some Friday night news. The news was not really surprising. As the headline reads, center Jamaree Strickland is transferring. Strickland played 1 game in his UC career. He was suspended for “conduct unbecoming of a Bearcat.”
Mick Cronin had this to say:
“We wish Jamaree the best going forward.”
This is not really a blow to the current iteration of the Bearcats. Strickland wasn’t going to play much this year, if at all, the rest of the way. It is a bit of a blow to depth going forward. I’m sure the coaching staff will figure that out.
All the best to Jamaree. He had a rough go in his short time at Cincinnati. He wasn’t eligible last season, he was suspended this season. Hopefully his next stop will give him success. We will always have the snorkeling picture.
