NBA All-Star Weekend is here and the stars are shining brightly! One of those stars is Houston Rockets’ guard James Harden who is having an MVP level season, and is arguably the front runner for the Maurice Podoloff Trophy so far in this 2014-15 season.
Harden has been named the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Month every month this season: November 2014, December 2014, and January 2015. Through 53 games this season he is averaging 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
He has now added another team to his resume, as it was announced this morning that James Harden is now the newest athlete endorser for KT Tape (Kinesiology Therapeutic Tape), the category leader in kinesiology tape.
James has been wearing the tape on and off for a few years to provide relief to reoccurring shoulder and knee pain, but in 2014-2015 he’s worn KT Tape during every game of what has been an MVP caliber season so far. James joins three-time Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh-Jennings as an official athlete endorser of the product.
James Harden will be participating in the 3-point contest on Saturday night, as well as in the All-Star Game itself on Sunday night representing the West; which will mark the 3rd time he will be participating in the NBA’s ultimate showcase.
