Special teams came through again for the Redskins in the Ravens game, but this time it was not punter Tres Way nor kicker Dustin Hopkins. Jamison Crowder was THE MAN!
Wow. He's GONE!

Suddenly, you want to know everything about the man who burned the Giants two weeks ago.

Here’s a link to Crowder’s profile on Redskins.com. It says Crowder is my height and weight, only he’s younger faster, far more talented and in better shape.
Here’s the link to Crowder’s stat page on NFL
.com. It shows he achieved his ninth game start in his second NFL year. Hog Heaven believes players need 36 game appearances to fully develop as pros. (QBs need 36 game starts.)
Crowder is making the most of his opportunities. As defenses focus on Jordan Reed and DeSean Jackson, Crowder makes plays. Time will tell if he can continue to bust big plays as defenses focus on him, but it seems like the kid has a lot of upside.
Read a brief bio of the kid from Monroe, North Carolina, on Wikipedia. You can always trust Wikipedia.
In January, Tarik El-Bashir asked if the Redskins would rely more on Crowder in 2016?
Uh, yeah!
But there’s this. Crowder struggled as a punt returner last year. He was an ace performer in that area at Duke.
“I know I could have been a bigger playmaker in that area,” Crowder said on locker clean out day. “That’s one aspect I’m going to try to get better at in the offseason, see what I could have done better to put the offense in better field position.”
He did something right in the offseason.
The truly cool part about Crowder’s heroics is that he did it in the presence of Devin Hester, best returner among active players.
Hail to you, Jamison Crowder. Hail!
