It all started so innocent. Someone was making a simple video recording of a Japanese high school band performing Queen’s “We Will Rock You” at a baseball game.
But, then, at the 0:38 mark, as if summoned by the baseball Gods above, the most fantastic pre-swing routines broke out in the background. It’s so magnificent that it’s even left the jaw of “Batting Stance Guy” himself on the floor.
“I want to be his friend,” Gar Ryness told The Hall. “It’s like he saw Trevor Bauer’s batter’s box performance art and decided to turn it up to 11.”
