First thing first is it legal? It absolutely is! The rules state that a player “shall not purposely fake a free throw attempt.” Sullinger never faked a free-throw he faked his pre-shot routine. This is just smart thinking by Sullinger as he knows he will catch the Grizzlies off guard.
I have to say watching this Celtics team has been so much fun, there seems to be something new every night. I have said it once and I will say it again do not sleep on the Celtics, they are a team you do not want to mess with.
