Jaroslav Halak has the most shutouts of any goaltender in St. Louis Blues history. Blanking the Panthers in a decisive 7-0 victory, Halak passed Glenn Hall with his 17th shutout as a member of the Blues. Halak broke Hall's record in his 121st game as a member of the franchise.

Hall posted 16 shutouts in 140 games. Halak bested this ratio with 17 shutouts in 121 games. This is a testament to how impressive Halak has been inside the St. Louis crease. He has received criticism for injuries and some occasional lackadaisical play, but when he's locked in he has proven he can blank an opponent on a regular basis.

Halak trained in St. Louis this summer and it shows. He looks much sharper and much more confident between the pipes. The biggest key for Halak is to stay healthy as he skates in the final year of his current contract.

If you're curious what the St. Louis shutout list looks like, here's the updated numbers after Halak's 17th shutout:

Jaroslav Halak – 17

Roman Turek – 13
Brian Elliott – 12
