With a 3-0 shutout win over the Edmonton Oilers, Jaroslav Halak tied Glenn Hall for the most shutouts in St. Louis Blues team history. Halak now has 16 shutouts as a member of the Blues, matching Hall's mark that was set back during the 1970-71 season.
If Halak is able to secure one more shutout with the Blues, a feat that should be relatively easy to accomplish considering he's under contract through the 2013-14 season, he'll become the goaltender with the most shutouts in franchise history.
Halak earned his 16th shutout with the Blues in his 115th game with the organization.
Glenn Hall's record with the Blues was pretty impressive, especially when you consider he joined the organization in the twilight of his career. He played for the Blues between 1967-68 and 1970-71, appearing in 140 games before hanging up his skates.
