The Blues have sent Dmitrij Jaskin back down to the Chicago Wolves of the AHL, as reported by the team's site. After spending four games with the Blues and scoring his first NHL goal, Jaskin returns to the Wolves as the Blues start to recover from a series of injuries which impacted a large chunk of the roster.
Speaking of injuries, it looks like David Backes is almost ready to return and might even suit up for Thursday's game against the LA Kings.
Backes is going through a rugged workout today. As Hitch would say, "He looks like a player." #stlblues

Finally some positive injury news. Backes has been out since December 28th with an injury that's only been described as an upper-body injury which isn't a concussion.
