Players are supposed to be nervous heading into their first postseason, right? Not so for the batch of youngsters suiting up for the Chicago Cubs this October.
Hours before the first pitch of Game Four against the St. Louis Cardinals, Javier Baez hit the Twitters with an interesting pre-game request. The 22-year-old wanted to know what to name his dog.
Seriously?
Idk what to nema my new dog. What do you think? Tell me a name you like. Lol

Now a lesser man might suggest Baez call his new pup “Lackey” because during the bottom of the second Tuesday night, he made the St. Louis Cardinals pitcher his youknowwhat…but I’ll refrain.
Let’s just stick to the same name countless Cubs fans have branded their pooch. Wrigley.
