Eminem and Jay-Z were at tonight’s Tigers/Yankees in Detroit to announce on ESPN and the respective local markets that they will perform together in concert in the fall. On September 2, they will play at Comerica Park and then travel to New York for a September 13 show at Yankee Stadium. No word yet on when tickets will go on sale.
The two also met with the players and coaches before the game. Here’s Jim Leyland shaking hands with Eminem as Jay Z looks on, somewhat perplexed. No, Jay-Z, you’re thinking of Ernie Harwell. Ernie Harwell passed away last week.
