Jed Lowrie took his first step in coming back to the Red Sox last night in a rehab start in Pawtucket. The PawSox literally had a WALK off victory in the 9th. With the bases loaded, the Bats closer walked in the winning run by issuing a walk to Ryan Lavarnway.
Jed’s stats for the night were that he went 0 for 2 and played three innings in the field. Both hits were strong hits to the infield and he made some nice plays on defense, so it didn’t look seem he was favoring the shoulder at all.
“Shoulder feels good, after two at-bats and three innings in the field, it feels good. So we’ll just continue to have that progression, and know on Friday when I’ll be ready to go.” -Jed Lowrie after the game.
Hope to have you back soon Jedi!
