Jeff Green tweets “Finally”… so everyone assumes his deal is done

The agent for forward Jeff Green, David Falk, told me last night that the four-year deal with Boston worth approximately $36 million should finally be formalized “in the next day or two…We just had some sort of technical and (salary cap) issues that were holding it up. Nothing serious.”

So everyone is assuming the Jeff Green deal is finally done.

Of course, we knew it would be done at some point, but the secretive, protracted silence spurred a million questions as to why and almost as many rumors.

Unless Jeff Green is happy about new episodes of Arrested Development finally going into production, this might finally be the end of the weirdest “done deal” in basketball history.
