Jeff Luc: American of the Week, Houston Game Time and TV

Let’s start with the second football note first.

A nooner, yes, but it’s an ESPN game nooner. On day full of championship games, this is a good tradeoff. I’m assuming no championship game will be at noon so UC will have a national stage to itself to play the Houston Cougars. It’ll esstentially be a championship game for the Cats, if they can take care of Temple this weekend. I’m not offended by the noon start time.

Rounding out the news, Jeff Luc has earned the AAC defensive player of the week honors. He had a monster game against UConn with 10 tackles, 2.5 TFL, 2 sacks, which included a strip sack. Jeff Luc is a machine. This is a well deserved honor.

Rod Moore earned honor roll honors for his 100 yard effort against UConn. Good job, Rod.

Here’s the full release from the AAC.
