OK, obviously I gave it to Jarius Wright, as you can tell by the picture above, but it could have easily gone to any of the guys below:
– Teddy Bridgewater: The rookie strikes again late in the game, both with impressive play with 23 seconds left to get the Vikings into a game winning field goal try (which shit-head Blair Walsh missed), but then also with his audible after recognizing the defensive alignment on the final play in overtime for a walk off 87-yard touchdown pass. BALLS.
– Charles Johnson: The no-name street urchin has suplanted first round stud Cordarrelle Patterson, put up an easy 100-yard receiving day, and almost had like 4 touchdowns on the day. Without his play – all day long, not just on one play – the Vikings don’t win.
– Gerald Hodges: The Vikings offense managed 3 touchdowns on the day, needing overtime to do it. They had a defensive touchdown to even things up for regulation, thanks to Hodges’ interception return for a touchdown. Without it, they probably lose. KUDOS, SIRE.
– Mike Zimmer’s Balls: We all know Denny Green would have taken a knee.
In the end though, Wright’s play was so dramatic that I have to give him the poop stamp. As soon as he broke his first tackle, thanks to a Greg Jennings block, then saw John Sullivan following him up the sidelines, you knew he was on his way. Some Jets speedster almost got close to him at that point, but whatever. He was within even Blair’s chip shot range at that point, so it was all but moot.

Either way, it was fun, and definitely worthy of the Stamp. Congrats, Wright!
