Your morning cup o’ Kings: Jimmer wins big at the ESPYs

More of a quick hitter than a cup o’ Kings this morning, but last night at the ESPYs, Jimmer Fredette took home yet another major award.  This time around it was the ESPY for Best Male College Athlete to go along with a mountain of other awards, including the AP National Player of the Year and the John R. Wooden Award as the nation’s top college basketball player.  This kid is going to need an entire wing in his home to house all of these trophies.

So congratulations to the Sacramento Kings’ 2011 first round pick, Jimmer Fredette.

Tomorrow begins our coverage of the American Century Championship from the beautiful Edgewood Golf Course in Lake Tahoe.  We will be onsite to bring you a firsthand account as the tournament unfolds.  I’m sure we will have plenty of video and interviews to share, as Jimmer joins an incredible roster of athletes and celebrities to show off his skills on the links.
