It’s official, we can move on and start talking about other things now. Jimmy Graham has signed a long term deal with the Saints and will be with the team for the foreseeable future. Graham was the one to break the news to twitter this morning himself:

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsThe terms of the contract are 4 years, $40 million with $21 million guaranteed. That makes his deal the richest per year for a tight end in NFL history, but it’s less total money than Rob Gronkowski’s 6 year $53 million deal. It’s interesting to note that his contract will expire the same year as Drew Brees’s. Personally I would have liked to have seen 5 years but I’m just glad he’s locked up.
