It occurs to me that this title may have led you to believe that this post was about something else. But no. Washington's Joel Ward was with his team in Dallas over the weekend, and after he took care of some personal business, he found that his bathroom stall door wouldn't open.

My first question: How did he take this picture? It's good to see that the Caps put their players up in the nicest establishments in Dallas. Can you imagine, though, if he hadn't had that window above the stall? Joel Ward could be dead in his own stench.
The stall wouldn't open, perhaps because of some stripped threads within the door mechanism, and clearly, this hotel wasn't the type to allow strong men to break in the door, so they did the next best thing. They got a ladder (not gold plated) and rescued Ward.
Thankfully, it was a happy ending.
