Last night John Lackey looked like he was ready to rejoin the rotation with his rehab start in Pawtucket. Lackey pitched 5.2 innings and only gave up 1 run on a solo HR. His velocity remained consistent, which was a concern in many of his starts before he headed out on the DL. His pitching line was 5.2 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 4Ks through 63 pitches.
Lackey is currently scheduled to rejoin the Red Sox rotation on Sunday.
