According to the Red Sox, John Lackey is scheduled to be activated from the DL on Sunday to make his second appearance of the year.
Lackey was pitching terrific in his first start in Toronto until he suffered a bicep strain as he was pitching. This was a scary moment for Lackey as he thought he hurt his elbow again.
I personally cannot wait until Lackey returns Sunday, as Lackey returned to his Angels form during his first start. Now Lackey can go out in front of the Fenway Faithful on Sunday and win over the fans.
